Meet Greater Annapolis Veterinary Hospital's Veterinarians

Dr. Ashley Manari

Dr. Manari was born and raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor's degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences at Virginia Tech in 2002. After working for a year as a veterinary technician, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 with an emphasis on small animal medicine. While in veterinary school, she was the president of the Companion Animal Club/American Animal Hospital Association and American Association for Feline Practitioners. Dr. Manari was also the Boehringer-Ingelheim drug company representative. She participated in numerous research studies and received a scholarship her senior year.

Dr. Manari is very excited to join GAVH and can't wait to become a part of the Annapolis community! Her main interests include surgery, orthopedic disease, pain management and behavior. She lives in the area with her two hound mix siblings and feline companion.

Dr. Kristy Meivogel

Dr. Meivogel was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Pets were a large part of her childhood and inspired her dream to become a veterinarian. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida State University in 2003 then went back to Ohio to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 2007. During her senior year, she was inducted into the national veterinary honor society, Phi Zeta.
Dr. Meivogel practiced in Fairfax, VA for 4 years before moving to Annapolis to join Greater Annapolis Veterinary Hospital. Her clinical interests include internal medicine, dermatology, oncology, and preventative medicine. She is a member of the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
In her personal time, Dr. Meivogel enjoys live music, reading, cooking, attending football and baseball games, and spending time with her loved ones, including her English Bulldog, Zeke.
